The beginning of the 2026 school year is more than just another start for our Kinder. This year, Belgrano Day School proudly celebrates a milestone born from listening closely to our community and its needs: the official opening of our Kinder 1 classrooms at our Belgrano R campus.
The Heart of Our Approach: Care and Connection
Welcoming one-year-old children is a challenge we embrace with the confidence that our educational project continues to grow, supporting children from their very first steps. As Estela Fothy, Head of Kinder, explains, our goal is to build strong relationships that act as “flexible safety nets”—spaces that nurture, support, and adapt to each family within an environment of warmth and care.
Today, more than 20 pioneering families have placed their trust in our Kinder 1 project, allowing us to honor the Fac Recte tradition from the earliest stage of childhood. Here, our founders’ motto comes to life: we educate children to play the game of life with integrity, honesty, and joy as they embrace each new learning experience.
Educational Innovation: Exploring to Learn
Academically, 2026 brings ambitious goals. While we place a strong emphasis on Language and Mathematics, in line with the new curriculum of the City of Buenos Aires, we do so through what defines us: play and discovery.
To further strengthen this vision, we are excited to introduce our Montessori Learning Environments. These spaces, which complement our Gym, Music, Library, and Movement activities, are designed to:
- Encourage independence from the very first year.
- Respect each child’s individual pace of learning.
- Inspire a love of learning in a carefully prepared environment.
This journey is also enriched by the Cambridge Early Years programme, which provides a seamless and solid transition to Primary and Middle & Senior, reinforcing our culture of bilingual education from the very beginning of each student’s educational journey.
A Shared Commitment
The opening of Kinder 1 is an invitation to renew the shared responsibility between families and the school in the education of our children. We hope this year will be filled with meaningful connections, empathy, and gratitude, strengthening every family’s sense of belonging to the Belgrano Day School community as we walk this journey together.
