Community service (bridges)

BriDgeS is the adopted name for the Community Works project, heir of a long history of solidarity practices. It combines the initials of Belgrano Day School with the word “bridges”, since the objective is precisely to build them: build bridges between people, between different social realities.

Solidarity is a fundamental and necessary human value that allows us to reach out to others so we can strengthen our own communities and the great community that is humanity. Through service as an attitude towards life, key values such as compassion, empathy and generosity as means for a peaceful coexistence in the world are learnt and put into practice.

Concrete actions, such as charity fairs and solidarity events, volunteer activities and associations with different NGOs, are learning facilitators that make our students into citizens committed with their social realities, protagonists of change and future leaders in the search for the common good.
