Belgrano Day School celebrated the awarding of the Cambridge International Certificates taken in 2024, in two ceremonies that recognized students’ dedication, effort, and academic achievements.
Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Certificates: solid foundations for the future
On June 5th, the awards ceremony for the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint was held, for M1 students who took the exams in 2024. These exams assess key skills in areas such as English, mathematics, and science, and help students better prepare for their secondary education.
During the ceremony, Coordinator Gabriela Correa and the Head of Middle & Senior, Enzo Speranza, highlighted the value of these experiences in building strong academic paths. More than 50 students received their certificates, accompanied by their families and teachers, in a ceremony that closed with remarks from the Deputy General Academic Director, Tomás Movsichoff.
IGCSE, ICE, AS, and A Level Certificates in Middle & Senior
On May 21st, diplomas were awarded to Middle & Senior students who took the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) exams in 2024, as well as to those who earned the prestigious ICE Diploma, which certifies passing at least seven subjects across different areas.
AS (Advanced Subsidiary) and A Level Certificates were also awarded to the Old Fac Recteans who completed these programs.
These diplomas certify internationally recognized academic skills and are highly valued by universities and employers around the world. During the ceremony, students with the highest grades (A and A*) were also recognized.
The ceremony included remarks from Paula Abeliansky, a BDS alumna, who shared her experience with the Cambridge international exams and their impact on her university and professional life.
The awarding of these certificates reaffirms Belgrano Day School’s commitment to excellence in education with an international outlook. Through its bilingual, learner-centered approach, the school prepares its students to navigate the world with autonomy, critical thinking, and strong academic tools in an increasingly globalized world.
