Belgrano Day School hosted the Round Square Spanish Language Lab.

Our Senior 5 students led a virtual cultural exchange with students from India, Pakistan, and the United States who are learning Spanish.

Round Square Spanish Language Lab

As part of the 60th Anniversary of Round Square, Belgrano Day School was proud to host the Spanish Language Lab for the first time. This cultural exchange initiative, which connects young people from around the world, found the perfect moderators in our Senior 5 students, who facilitated the learning of Spanish as a second language.

The school’s team was made up of Felicitas Larrambebere, Victoria González Carreño, Ema Perez Marc, Lara Fernández Vidal, Catalina Iriarte Hernández, Francesca Mannelli, Juan Ignacio Sokol Tegli, Juan Sebastián Lazarte, Sofía Amadío Massaro, Julieta Reboredo, and Catalina Galuppo, who embraced their roles as language ambassadors with great commitment.

Global Learning

During the event, students connected virtually with peers from India, Pakistan, and the United States. Organized into groups according to language proficiency, Belgrano Day School students took on an active leadership role by moderating conversations, sharing audiovisual materials, and providing grammar and cultural explanations in a collaborative and welcoming environment.

This activity perfectly reflects one of our core pillars: Internationalism. As a member of the Round Square network, Belgrano Day School offers students meaningful learning experiences that extend beyond the boundaries of the traditional classroom. By engaging with such diverse cultures and perspectives, our students develop a global mindset that is both open-minded and critical—an essential quality for the leaders of tomorrow.
