Our community proudly wore the colors of the Argentine flag to commemorate May 25, 1810, the historic event that marked the birth of Argentina’s First National Government. Through three heartfelt ceremonies, students from Kinder, Primary, and Middle & Senior, together with their families, teachers, and school leaders, came together to honor the roots of our nation and celebrate the identity that unites us.
Throughout the celebrations, the speeches delivered across the different sections invited everyone to reflect on the meaning of courage, the value of genuine human connection, and the beginning of a shared journey. By recalling those colonial days filled with debate and citizens determined to have their voices heard, this year’s ceremonies built a meaningful bridge to the challenges we face today.
The commemorations left us with a clear message: a nation is not built alone, but together, and today’s heroism is reflected in being fully present and choosing to become active protagonists of our own story. At BDS, we renew that spirit every day through our own revolutionary act: planting the flag of healthy relationships and collective growth. Our commitment is to create spaces grounded in listening, dialogue, and respect for differences, allowing students to look one another in the eye, work as a team, and feel they are an essential part of both their school and their country.
Wearing the national cockade with pride and honoring our traditions, we concluded a day of meaningful reflection, reaffirming that our nation is built every day through care, unity, and the relationships we nurture in every classroom of our School.
