Pastoral

Pastoral Care

Belgrano Day School is secular and promotes principles such as respect, solidarity, empathy, and commitment to others, understood as universal values.

The school embraces a Catholic orientation as part of its educational project; however, its practice is optional and respectful of the diversity of beliefs of each family.

An educational dimension open to every family

The program is developed from an inclusive and non-compulsory approach, offering those who wish to participate spaces for encounter, reflection, and religious practice.

The community can also access the weekly homilies of Father Alejandro Russo, Chaplain of Belgrano Day School and Rector of the Cathedral of Argentina, which are broadcast from the Cathedral of Buenos Aires via their YouTube channel.

Accompanying families on their faith journey

For families who choose to participate, the school offers:

Catechesis for the sacraments of initiation (First Communion and Confirmation)
Monthly celebration of Mass
Graduation Mass with the graduating class and their families. Confession spaces.
Participation in solidarity actions and community campaigns.
Spiritual retreat for S5 and S6 students.
Pilgrimage of the Virgin Mary to the homes of our students, led by the Missionary Sisters.

Transcending Values

Beyond religious practice, BDS Pastoral Care has the aim of accompanying every student in the construction of a meaningful life, promoting discovery and encounter with oneself, others, and in the community.
